Community Service

Since 2003, University School has encouraged 5th through 8th grade students to get involved in various community service projects. By participating in such projects at a young age, students begin to develop a better awareness of others in the community and see needs beyond their own.

Student Council (STUCO) led three community service projects during the 2022-23 school year.  The first project benefited the TU True Blue Pantry with hundreds of non-perishable food items being donated. Over 95 individuals received gifts during the holiday season courtesy of The Bear Hugs for Kendall Whittier program. Students also piloted an SPCA drive raising over $2,300 worth of cash and supplies for the Tulsa SPCA chapter.
